The best 2-minutes of your day...

Talk about WOM Marketing! This 2-minute commercial by Honda is reported to be the most displayed ad on the Internet. I don't know about that, but it is making the rounds, and that translates to free advertising for Honda. So here's me, doing my part to help out on their campaign...

Cool video, but why wait until the end to add sound? And the grand finale . . . not so exciting (think soccer moms and family vacations). I would think the audience that this video would attract would be those looking for design, speed and dynamics in a car, not . . . space.

Obviously, Honda as succeeded in WOM marketing with this video but from a theoretical viewpoint, has Honda succeded in their target audience, or can we as consumers even define it?

Then again I can't get a microwave to work sometimes.

The equipment was so precisely set up that the crew literally had to tip toe around the set for fear of disturbing things, which led to some unexpected problems. "As the day went on, the studio would get hotter," says Steiner. "It meant that the wood would expand and the cog or exhaust that spins around would move slightly faster." These tiny changes made big differences to the precision set-up of the equipment......
